Operation: Blue Santa


The Round Rock Operation Blue Santa program is an annual event right here in our backyard. It is dedicated to positively impacting the lives of Round Rock children and families during the holiday season. Operation Blue Santa is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization supported by the Round Rock Police Department. It collects donations from the community and helps those less fortunate to celebrate the magic of the holiday season. 

For 2022, FSG Smart Buildings set up the Christmas Tree and decided to have a toy drive. We’re proud to say that every employee participated by collecting toys from people they knew, purchasing and donating, or volunteering and coordinating the toy drive collection event. In addition, Smart Buildings committed to matching employee donations, and together we raised over $3,000 in toys and gifts. 

The Round Rock Operation Blue Santa program began in 1978, serving fewer than 20 families by delivering toys and food during the holiday season. Since then, the program has helped more than 1,500 individuals annually! It provides each family with a food gift card and Christmas gifts for each child aged 12 and younger. In addition, Round Rock senior citizens receive food gift cards and fits. 

The program builds and reinforces partnerships within the City government, local businesses and organizations, and generous citizens.
